Rachel Comey
As a young costume designer in New York, Rachel Comey found herself a loyal cult following while designing menswear for local musicians. After years of freelancing around town, she eventually landed a gig with David Bowie, charging him only $100 for two hand-painted shirts. In 2001 she launched her menswear line, later adding womenswear in 2004. Comey’s collections have become known for using handmade textiles combined with modern downtown silhouettes. Available at our Cincinnati boutique and online.
