Joey is a Cincinnati native, originally from the rural Midwest, but drawn to the city for its strong art scene and vibrant LGBTQ community. He began styling at Idlewild in 2025, finding space in Cincinnati to grow and engage with fashion on his own terms.

Instead, he channeled his passion into painting magazine covers of his favorite pop divas and designing downloadable outfits for games like The Sims. As he’s grown older, he’s embraced fashion in a more personal, unapologetic way - breaking down binaries and bringing a needed sense of romance into the world.
