This midi-length black skirt features a thick rib knit that sculpts curves into and away from the body, creating a striking silhouette. 

The organic shape emerges from blending various knit patterns, shaping the space between the wearer and the garment. The seamless knit technique enhances the sculptural, flowing design of the piece.

Legendary Japanese designer Issey Miyake debuted his eponymous womenswear label in 1971, charting a half century of work in fashion design. An industry pioneer, Miyake’s clothing blends traditional Japanese techniques with forward-thinking technology. The brand is famous for their pleating technique which led to the debut of Pleats Please in 1993. Much of Miyake’s work is informed by an architectural approach to design, seen in sculptural silhouettes and clothing with purpose. Vibrant colors, advanced pattern making, and a devotion to curiosity are hallmarks of this fashion house now led by Satoshi Kondo.
