Refund policy
IN STORE PURCHASES
All full priced, unworn items returned within 7 days of purchase with original tags can be returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY. No refunds will be issued for in store purchases. All discounted items and items in the list below are FINAL SALE. No store credit or refund will be issued.
EXCHANGES
Items can be exchanged for a different size of the same item within 7 days of purchasing the item in store. The size being returned must be unworn with original tags attached for an exchange to be accepted. We cannot guarantee that the size needed will be in stock. You can call, stop in store, or check online to see if we have the size you need.
FINAL SALE
ONLINE AND IN-STORE
All items that are marked down and/or used in combination with any discount code greater than 10% OFF are considered final sale. No refunds or store credits will be given on final sale items.
The following categories are considered final sale and cannot be returned:
· Jewelry
· Gift cards
· Perfume
· Beauty Products
· Hair accessories
· Candles/Home fragrance
· Pantry items
· Socks/Tights
· Books
· Trunkshow items
GIFT CARD / STORE CREDIT PURCHASE
Any items that are purchased in-store or online with gift cards or store credit are final sale. Store credit is given in the form of Gift Cards.
ONLINE PURCHASES
RETURNS
Any item that is purchased at full retail price or with our welcome discount code is eligible for a refund following the guidelines below:
- Returned item is shipped back to Idlewild within 7 days of delivery — a refund will be issued for the eligible item minus the return label fee. Idlewild will provide the return label.
- Returned item is shipped back to Idlewild between 8-10 days of delivery — a 15% restock fee and the return label fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Idlewild will provide the return label.
- After 10 days of delivery — the item is no longer eligible for a refund and is considered final sale. If the item is not shipped back to us within 10 days of delivery, you will not receive a refund. Do not ship back if you have had the item for 10+ days.
Returned items must be unworn with all original tags attached. Idlewild will not accept returns on items that show signs of wear, have removed tags, are stained, or carry strong odors.
Please use an outer protective box when shipping shoes back to us. Return labels should not be affixed directly to the shoe box. Returns will be denied if the shoe box is significantly damaged upon return.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.
EXCHANGES
We will consider exchanges on a case-by-case basis. Please submit exchange requests through the form at the bottom of this page, and we will contact you via email if your exchange is approved. If you cannot wait for our approval but you want to try another size listed on our website, please place a new order after you fill out the return/exchange form.
Please note: it may take between 24-48 to process return and exchange requests.

You may only exchange an order once. If you return an exchanged order, you will receive store credit.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
For all eligible returns - Idlewild will provide a return shipping label with a $10 handling fee, which will be deducted from your final return refund.
