This light tunic dress features dolman sleeves, a short stand collar and button fastenings.

The striking pattern of SHADOW STUDY emerges from overlapping black and white film photographs capturing the shadows of everyday objects. Woven from sheer, stretchy cotton, the fabric offers a smooth, dry touch and an airy, lightweight feel.

Legendary Japanese designer Issey Miyake debuted his eponymous womenswear label in 1971, charting a half century of work in fashion design. An industry pioneer, Miyake’s clothing blends traditional Japanese techniques with forward-thinking technology. The brand is famous for their pleating technique which led to the debut of Pleats Please in 1993. Much of Miyake’s work is informed by an architectural approach to design, seen in sculptural silhouettes and clothing with purpose. Vibrant colors, advanced pattern making, and a devotion to curiosity are hallmarks of this fashion house now led by Satoshi Kondo.
