Silk Cashmere Knit by Issey Miyake is a high-neck, long-sleeved knit top that combines the softness and sheen of silk with the lightness and pleasant feel of cashmere. The use of a silk/cashmere blend yarn creates a light, moderately glossy texture with a feeling of volume even at a 50% silk, 50% cashmere blend ratio. The top is constructed seamlessly, with long knitted panels continuing at the neckline and waist, making it possible to wrap them like a stole or blouse the waist.

Issey Miyake

Legendary Japanese designer Issey Miyake debuted his eponymous womenswear label in 1971, charting a half century of work in fashion design. An industry pioneer, Miyake’s clothing blends traditional Japanese techniques with forward-thinking technology. The brand is famous for their pleating technique which led to the debut of Pleats Please in 1993. Much of Miyake’s work is informed by an architectural approach to design, seen in sculptural silhouettes and clothing with purpose. Vibrant colors, advanced pattern making, and a devotion to curiosity are hallmarks of this fashion house now led by Satoshi Kondo.
